London Calling

In London Calling, we sharpened the grit with bold VFX and HDR colour grading by Kyle Stroebel – giving Josh Duhamel’s hitman story the polish and punch it needed to land with swagger.

When the Smoke Clears, the Drama Hits Hard

This isn’t your average assassin caper. It’s bullets, banter, and bad decisions – all set against the unlikely backdrop of Cape Town doubling as London. London Calling stars Josh Duhamel as a veteran hitman forced to babysit a crime boss’s son while navigating shootouts, shady deals, and fatherly trauma with a smoking gun in hand.

Directed by Allan Ungar (Bandit) and lensed by Kurt Brabbee, the film also features Jeremy Ray Taylor, Rick Hoffman, Aidan Gillen, Arnold Vosloo, and Neil Sandilands – a heavyweight cast with bite.

We were brought in by our friends at Mannequin Pictures to handle HDR colour grading and VFX, ensuring the film’s razor-edge tone and kinetic pace never missed a beat. Kyle Stroebel led the grade, layering a stylized, high-contrast finish that moves between slick and savage. Our VFX team handled everything from cleanups to action enhancements, helping push the scale without compromising authenticity.

With its theatrical release locked for September 19, London Calling is proof that sometimes, the hit lands hardest in post.
